The Californian rabbit colorations was very similar to the Himalayan rabbit; predominatly white body with black on the feet, nose, ears and tail. They have pink eyes. Californian rabbits were originally bred for their meat and for fur and have since been adopted as pets and show rabbits. Their fur can be considered fancy.
